This reminds me of photos I have seen of entire army divisions lined up on drill fields, arranged into the semblance of the old stars and stripes, or of the Statue of Liberty, among others. They, however, are in uniforms rather than birthday suits.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Also, Tunick did one of these in Cleveland on a day when it was really too cold to be nekked.

Birgit, this is very cool! Thanks for posting it.

PS - I think the size of the image is throwing off the front page of A&P. All the comments and other sidebar stuff is now way down at the bottom, at least w/ IE. If you make the width 450p or less it will fix this.

Thank you, Sunil

The Associated Press
Published: March 21, 2007
<blockquote> MEXICO CITY: U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick, famous for photographing crowds of nude people around the world, has chosen Mexico City for his next project.

Tunick said Wednesday that the capital city's photo shoot will be held April 28-29 at a still undisclosed location.

"It's a collaboration with thousands of young, open-minded Mexican citizens," he said. "It's a beautiful collaboration with the body that transcends pornography."</blockquote>
