Happy Easter to Everyone too!
I’m so glad your fellow creature let all those butterflies go. One day in the desert in Nevada, my space was inundated with butterflies on their way somewhere. There was an oasis somewhat nearby, so perhaps they had found it and just were being companionable, flying in and out of the barn in which I was working. I felt blessed.
What a lovely painting. The woman’s hand as she holds the net handle is a very nice touch.
I’m wondering to what extent you think of this as a self-portrait. Even if it’s primarily imagined or allegorical, it feels like it is still a lot about you.
Yes Steve it’s about the inner world and inner self-image… and personal beliefs… sometimes peace can only be truly found in that world that I have always refuge since childhood!
